                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF M.L. KING BOULEVARD MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN ON FRIDAY,
                   OCTOBER 2, 1992 FROM 5:30 P.M. TO 10:00 P.M.
                   FOR THE "MARCH OF DIMES CAJUN COUNTRY
                   COOKOUT" SPONSORED BY THE MARCH OF DIMES
                   UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of M.L. King Boulevard from Market Street to
       Cherry Street on Friday, October 2, 1992 from 5:30 P.M. to 10:00
       P.M. for the "March of Dimes Cajun Country Cookout" under the
       sponsorship of the of the March of Dimes provided that the 
sponsor
       shall set out flasher barricades and warning signs in accordance
       with the traffic control plan attached hereto, and shall provide, 

       at all times, an access lane for emergency vehicles.
